Job Description:
The IT Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope and objectives, develop detailed project plans, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with client specifications.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in IT or related fields.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and mentor team members.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
Self-Funded Onboarding Program:
Selected candidates will participate in a comprehensive onboarding program designed to integrate them seamlessly into our projects and company culture. This program requires a one-time, employee-funded fee of $1,500, covering training materials, access to project management tools, and mentorship from experienced professionals. The onboarding process includes:
Orientation: Introduction to company policies, project management methodologies, and tools.
Project Immersion: Hands-on involvement in current projects under the guidance of senior managers.
Mentorship: Regular sessions with a dedicated mentor to discuss progress, challenges, and professional development.
Upon successful completion of the onboarding program, candidates will assume full responsibilities as IT Project Managers within our team.
